About the Teacher

Margot’s style of teaching comes from over 1000 hours of training in Asana, philosophy, Ayurveda, Reiki & Energy work, Vinyasa, and Iyengar, among other styles and disciplines. She has taught internationally and studied under teachers such as Ali Cramer, Ruth Robbins, Nikki Costello, Judith Lasater, Rodney Yee, Brian Kest, Ellena Brower, Dana Flynn, and others.

Margot attributes her teachings to years of learning from life's experiences of loss, love, challenge, and joy. She believes that the practices are an extension of your life and we need to meet them with dedication, grace, and humility knowing that each challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow, and expand.

Margot serves her community many ways. She sits as chair of the board for the Town Green Special Service District of New Haven which she has been a part of for over 10 years. Margot advocates for public art, community events, social justice, and public safety for the community and surrounding areas.

In class with Margot, you will find philosophy, deeply contemplating dharma, and widely fun sequencing. Margot is the queen of “the full experience” so expect to learn, laugh, let go, listen to some good tunes and be pushed to be nothing but yourself exactly as you are.
