Jenn
Jenn Stanley teaches yoga to support people in reclaiming their attention.
In a world that constantly pulls us outward, yoga creates space to practice noticing, feeling, and choosing. Jenn’s classes are a slow and surprising revolution, where the breath becomes an intuitive compass toward an alignment that is discovered, not imposed.
With a background in documentary journalism and years of working alongside people navigating systemic trauma, Jenn brings a deep sensitivity to language, power, and nervous system regulation. Raised in practices of inquiry, resistance, and reimagining, they see yoga as a way to return to the truth of one’s own being.
Whether guiding yin, restorative, vinyasa, or a hybrid like vin & yin (a personal favorite), Jenn invites students to build resilience, restore balance, and develop the strength and flexibility to navigate life’s currents.
Jenn received their 200-hour certification from the Himalayan Institute, where they studied classical yoga philosophy and breath-centered alignment. They are currently completing a 300-hour training at Down Under School of Yoga, with a focus on alignment-based flow under the guidance of Natasha Rizopoulos and Down Under’s senior faculty. Jenn is certified in yin and Reiki with Emily Peterson, and offers Reiki assists in yin and restorative classes.
